Teaser – CS50’s Web Programming with Python and JavaScript

BRIAN YU: Hello, world. My name is Brian Yu, and I’m the
instructor for Web Programming with Python and JavaScript. This course picks up where
Harvard CS50 leaves off, diving more deeply into the design
and implementation of web applications using Python, JavaScript, and
SQL, using frameworks in libraries like Flask, Django, and Bootstrap. Throughout, the course
you’ll have the opportunity to work on hands-on projects,
learning to use and write APIs, design custom and interactive
user interfaces, and leverage cloud technologies like Github and Heroku. By the end of the semester, you’ll
emerge with knowledge and experience in principles, languages, and tools
that will enable and empower you to design and deploy web
applications on the Internet. Welcome to Web Programming
with Python and Javascript. [MUSIC PLAYING]

  1. This guy is a great lecturer. Would have loved to have watched these when I first got started — but nonetheless I don't feel like I'm wasting time watching them as a simple review. Great!

  2. You are an excellent speaker! You should do a series on public speaking/communication. Communication skills are one of the most important skills a dev needs other than technical knowledge

  3. Do I need to finish CS50 first to watch this?
I'm on week 5 and I finished learning the basics of HTML and CSS, now it's time for JavaScript.

  4. i love this lecturer keep it up i would want to learning more dear we can link up on email please i need your help dear. i will be happy if u respond in time
